Torres Sidecar

There’s nothing quite like a classic cocktail, and the Sidecar is one of my all-time favorites. This drink is easy to make and always tastes delicious.

I’m so excited to share the recipe for my version of the classic Sidecar cocktail. I used Torres 15 Brandy and Magdala Orange Liqueur, both of which are fantastic spirits. The combination of these two liqueurs with lemon juice makes for a sweet and sour cocktail that everyone will love!

Here’s a little mixology history: whenever I mix up a Sidecar for guests, they’re always surprised to learn about its origin. This classic drink was created in 1922 in Paris and London and gets its name from the motorcycle attachment. Since its creation, the Sidecar has been a popular choice among bartenders and cocktail-lovers alike. Easy to prepare and completely enjoyable, it’s no wonder that the Sidecar is so timeless.

The Sidecar is both tart and sweet, with a complex flavor profile that’s sure to please even the most discerning palate. The Torres 15 Brandy offers a rich, smooth and earthy base note, while the Magdala Orange Liqueur adds the right touch of sweet citrus. The lemon juice helps balance out the sweetness and gives the drink a refreshingly tart finish.

Torres 15 is a great brandy for mixing cocktails. It pairs well with the other ingredients in this drink and gives the Sidecar a deep, rich flavor that’s perfect for sipping on a cold night. Personally, I love the flavor of orange. It adds the right touch of sweetness and brightness and brings out the flavors of the other ingredients. Magdala Orange Liqueur is the perfect way to add orange flavor to this classic cocktail.

Step 2: Next, strain the drink into a chilled cocktail glass.

Tip: To chill your glass, simply place your glass in the freezer for a few minutes before mixing up this classic Sidecar cocktail.

Step 3: Finally, it’s time to garnish. I like to garnish my Sidecar with an orange peel and a sugar rim, but you can also use a lemon peel or cherry.

The Sidecar will simply never go out of style. It’s the perfect drink for any occasion, and it’s always fun to mix up an old favorite. Whether you are looking for a sophisticated drink to enjoy on a special occasion or simply want to mix up your usual cocktail repertoire, a Sidecar is sure to please. So, what are you waiting for? Give this classic cocktail a try! Cheers!
