Summer is the season for sunshine, fresh fruit, and cocktails that make you want to kick back and stay awhile. And when the heat really hits, nothing quenches your thirst quite like a tall glass of something cold and citrusy.
That’s exactly what inspired this Strawberry Peach Lemonade: a cocktail that brings together all the best flavors of summer in one refreshing glass.
This recipe started with a simple craving: I wanted something fruity, light, and bright. I knew I wanted to use lemonade as the base; it’s a classic summer staple for a reason.
Then I added fresh strawberries and juicy peaches for a burst of sweetness and color. The result is a drink that’s as pretty as it is delicious
The sweetness of the strawberries and peaches plays beautifully with the tartness of the lemonade, creating a perfectly balanced cocktail that’s easy to sip but full of flavor. It’s vibrant, fruit-forward, and very refreshing.
To elevate the flavor, I used peach vodka. My current go-to is Wildroots, which has a rich, real-fruit taste.
The peach vodka layers in even more juicy flavor and gives this cocktail just the right boozy kick.
What I love most, though, is how gorgeous this drink looks in the glass. Slices of peach and strawberry floating over ice give it a fresh, summery feel that’s perfect for any occasion, whether you’re hosting a backyard gathering or lounging by the pool.
Step 1: Add all ingredients including fresh peach and strawberry slices to a large pitcher.
If you’re entertaining, this recipe works beautifully in a pitcher.
Just multiply your ingredients, stir everything together, and serve over ice with a garnish of fresh strawberries or peach slices. Add a sprig of mint for extra flair.
Step 2: Stir mixture together until well combined.
Step 3: Pour the drink mixture over fresh ice in a cocktail glass of your choice (I used a highball glass).
Pro tip: Chill your glasses ahead of time to keep everything icy cold, even in the midday sun.
