Are you ready to elevate your cocktail game? Look no further than the Spiked Lemon Cream Soda! Imagine your everyday Italian Soda, but this time with a boozy twist. I was at my local coffee shop the other day and ordered a lemon Italian soda that was simply delicious. Naturally, as the Queen Bee of mixology, you know I was instantly inspired to create my own boozy cream soda to share with you.

I’m so happy with how this turned out. This Spiked Lemon Cream Soda has a bright yet creamy flavor profile that is perfect for sipping under the sun, so let’s get to mixing!

A traditional Italian Soda recipe consists of a flavored syrup, heavy cream, and seltzer water mixed together. It’s a beverage that can be personalized to your liking, which I am a huge fan of. With a simple addition of vodka you get that same delicious drink but with a kick! I made this cocktail right in the glass too, which cuts down on cleanup.

The first key ingredient in the Spiked Lemon Cream Soda is yuzu syrup. Yuzu is derived from the exotic Japanese citrus fruit. Its unique combination of lemon, lime, and grapefruit notes adds a zingy touch to this recipe, balancing out its overall sweetness.

Now, since this is a spiked Italian soda, I chose vodka as the base of this cocktail. Vodka tends to have crisp, clean notes that won’t overpower the other ingredients. As I was going through my home bar trying to pick the right vodka, I spotted a bottle of vanilla vodka and thought “Perfect!” The velvety smoothness of the vodka, infused with rich vanilla notes, adds a layer of sophistication to the cocktail.

Mix in heavy cream, pour over some seltzer water, and top it all off with whipped cream! The result is heavenly.
