‘Tis the season for festive drinks! And what better way to toast to a Merry Christmas for all than with a Santa’s Hat cocktail? This tangy and invigorating blend of cranberry juice, vodka, and peppermint schnapps will have you in the holiday spirit faster than jingling sleigh bells and Nat King Cole. It’s a fun, eye-catching beverage that I’m excited to share with you, so let’s mix one up!
This Santa’s Hat Cocktail is a fantastic option for any festive occasion. Not only does it have a simply delicious flavor, but the distinct red and white colors also make this cocktail visually appealing. Plus, the recipe is super easy to make!
I chose to use peppermint schnapps in this recipe for that touch of holiday flavor, however, feel free to use any type of peppermint liqueur. If you’re looking for a slightly stronger cocktail, peppermint vodka makes a great substitute. Peppermint vodka is readily available at many grocery stores this time of year. However, if you’re unable to find it, it’s super easy to infuse any spirit with peppermint. Simply add a few candy canes to a mason jar with your desired amount of liquor and let infuse. Simple and delish.
Step 1: Rim cocktail glass with icing (water and powdered sugar mixture), and shredded coconut.
Step 2: Add all ingredients for cocktail into a shaker with ice.
Step 3: Shake until well combined.
Step 4: Strain into prepared cocktail glass.
Step 5: Garnish with candy cane and enjoy!
Serve this Santa’s Hat vodka peppermint Cocktail as a refreshing accompaniment to your Christmas dinner. Not only is its flavor perfect for the holidays, but it’s also sure to bring cheer wherever you serve it! Who knew sweet, wintery flavors could be so delicious? Cheers to a happy holidays and clinking glasses!
