Pear Aperol Spritz

An Aperol Spritz Cocktail

Diamonds

The Pear Aperol Spritz is one of those drinks I love when I want something light, easy, and not overly sweet. It keeps the familiar spritz structure but softens it with pear nectar, which gives the cocktail a smooth, rounded feel. Aperol brings its gentle bitterness, Prosecco adds lift, and the pear ties everything together.

The Pear Aperol Spritz was inspired by the idea that a great aperitivo doesn’t need to shout to be memorable. Pear nectar adds a soft, almost velvety sweetness—subtle and refined—while Prosecco keeps the drink bright, crisp, and effortlessly celebratory.

Instead of blending everything together, Aperol is gently floated into the glass, creating a slow fade of color and flavor that evolves as you sip.

It’s a drink meant to be enjoyed unhurried—perfect for early evenings, long conversations, and moments when simplicity feels like the most luxurious choice of all.

Step 1: In a champagne flute, pour in the pear nectar, Prosecco and Aperol in that order.

Pear nectar gives the cocktail its smooth sweetness and soft fruit character. It rounds out the Aperol and makes the drink feel pleasant and easy to sip.

Prosecco adds brightness and effervescence. Its dry finish keeps the cocktail refreshing and prevents the pear nectar from feeling too heavy.

Aperol adds gentle bitterness and a touch of citrus. It keeps the spritz structured while contributing to the drink’s signature color.

Step 2: Garnish with a lemon peel twist along side the rim of the glass.

The lemon peel adds aroma and a hint of citrus oil. It lifts the drink and complements the existing flavors that make this cocktail stand out.

The Pear Aperol Spritz is an easy drink to keep in your rotation. It’s light, refreshing, and balanced, with just enough fruit and bitterness to stay interesting.

Whether you’re hosting friends or just pouring something for yourself, it’s a cocktail that feels relaxed, polished, and uncomplicated — exactly what a good spritz should be.
