There’s nothing quite like relaxing by the ocean, listening to the soft crash of waves and soaking up plenty of sun. When you take your first sip of this tropical cocktail, you’ll feel like you’re on a beach vacation. Following this recipe reminds me of the last time I went on a vacation in Hawaii. I was able to taste so many different types of fruity cocktails with simply beautiful garnishes. A cocktail is always enjoyable, but sipping one in Hawaii? That’s truly paradise. So I decided to capture a bit of that feeling with Natalie’s Beach Chair, a vodka and rum cocktail combining all the best parts of a sunny vacation.
I recently tried Natalie’s Guava Lemonade and it was so incredibly refreshing, I immediately knew I had to make a cocktail with it. After experimenting with a few approaches, I settled on Natalie’s Beach Chair.
This fruit-forward cocktail has a delicious tropical sweetness. No matter the weather or time of year, this is the perfect drink to transport you to your own beachside holiday.
The vodka and rum give it a nice boozy kick, while the crème de banana and lemon juice add a hint of tartness and tropical flavor. The guava lemonade and orange pineapple juice provide exactly the right balance, and the cherry syrup adds a burst of beautiful color. Combined, these ingredients make for a truly satisfying cocktail experience.
Step 1: Add all ingredients to a shaker.
Step 2: Top ingredients with fresh ice and shake until well combined and icy-cold.
Step 3: Fill a cocktail glass with crushed ice and using a small pair of tongs, place a few thin lemon slices on the edge of the glass.
Step 4: Pour shaken mixture into the prepared cocktail glass.
Step 5: Finally, garnish with a few sprigs of mint.
If you’re looking for a delicious tropical cocktail recipe, look no further than the Natalie’s Beach Chair! This fruit-forward drink is perfect for summertime sipping, but it’s also just the thing to clear away the wintertime blues. So go ahead and mix up a batch of these, kick back in a beach chair, and relax – you deserve it!
