Just because you let that mango, doesn’t mean you have to stop the party!
I’ve always believed that cocktails should be as fun as they are flavorful—and Let That Mango delivers on both. This spicy mango margarita is bold, refreshing, and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
If you’re planning on hosting a summer get-together or just craving something with a little kick, this drink checks all the boxes.
The idea for this cocktail came to me on one of those sunny afternoons where all you want is something cold, fruity, and just a little feisty.
I had ripe mangoes on the counter and a bottle of jalapeño-infused tequila in the cupboard—one shake later, Let That Mango was born.
And let me tell you: it’s sunshine in a glass.
Mango brings a tropical sweetness that’s juicy and rich without being overpowering.
Fresh lime juice adds a zesty contrast, and just the right amount of agave syrup ties it all together with smooth, natural sweetness.
But here’s where things get really fun—this drink has heat. Jalapeño tequila brings a warm, spicy edge that builds just enough to keep every sip interesting.
I love how it plays off the sweetness of the mango and lime—it’s the kind of cocktail that keeps you coming back for another sip (and maybe another round).
For presentation, I like to rim the glass with chamoy and tajín—it’s not just pretty, it adds a salty-sweet-spicy boost with every sip. Garnish it with a skewer of jalapeño slices for a look that’s as bold as the flavor.
Step 1: Dip the edge of your cocktail glass in chamoy and then tajin, set aside.
Step 2: Add all other ingredients to cocktail shaker.
Shake until well combined and chilled.
Step 3: Strain into your prepared cocktail glass over fresh ice.
Step 4: Garnish with a jalapeño pepper and enjoy!
So what are you waiting for? Get mixing! This margarita recipe is great for any summer occasion, from backyard BBQs to pool parties.
Just make sure you have plenty of ice on hand because once word gets out about this drink, it’s going to be a hot (and spicy) commodity.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Cheers!
