Kiwi Crusher is a sweet, tangy lime and kiwi cocktail that’s great for summer sipping. Its refreshing taste and lively color make it a favorite among my friends and family (I mean, who doesn’t love a fruity cocktail recipe?), so I’m sure it’ll be a total hit with your guests.
It’s also slightly reminiscent of a mojito, another summertime cocktail favorite, due to the muddled fruit and mint (and the incorporation of lime). Kiwi is often overlooked when talking about cocktail ingredients, which is why I thought it would be a fun idea to craft a drink recipe that highlights its bright, slightly sour flavors.
Check out the recipe below, and follow these simple steps to make your own Kiwi Crusher cocktail at home!
There’s just something special about this Kiwi Crusher cocktail. The bright green color reminds me of poolside lounging, picnics in the grass, and holidays in the sun. You might say it’s the ideal drink for warm weather. The visual appeal of fresh kiwi and the pop of color make it Insta-worthy, completely at home in a colorful feed.
But what really sets this drink apart is its dynamic flavor profile. The sweet kiwi is balanced by the tart lime, making for a truly unique and incredibly delicious cocktail.
Step 1: To make a kiwi crusher, first muddle together 1 peeled kiwi, 4-5 sprigs of mint, and 2 tsp of agave until the pulp is formed.
Step 2: Next, add ice and 2 oz. of vodka.
Step 3: Shake well and strain into the glass over ice.
Step 4: Garnish with a slice of kiwi & enjoy!
This refreshing cocktail is perfect any time you need a little pick-me-up. Whether you’re enjoying an afternoon in the backyard, entertaining a crowd, or taking a break from the heat, it’s simply a great choice. Cheers!
Agave can be substituted for simple syrup.
