Golden Bloom White Sangria

Diamonds

Some cocktails cool you down. Others take you somewhere—and this one? It brings the mood of an Italian summer right to your glass. The Golden Bloom White Sangria is bright, floral, and playfully elegant. From sunlit brunches to spontaneous golden-hour gatherings, it’s the kind of pitcher that makes hosting feel like second nature.

With fresh fruit, delicate bubbles, and a hint of elderflower, it’s built to be shared, sipped, and swooned over. Dreamy but doable, just how we like it.

This sangria skips the syrupy sweetness and goes for nuance. Juicy Honeycrisp apple, soft pear, and peach mingle with vibrant orange slices. Elderflower liqueur adds a whisper of floral charm, while white grape juice and honey syrup round things out with just enough richness.

Topped off with a bottle of Nivole Moscato d’Asti, which is light, slightly bubbly, and perfect for day drinking, it becomes something more than the sum of its parts. A quick stir, a short rest, and voilà: sunshine in a pitcher.

Give it a little time to sit before serving. Trust—those infused flavors are worth the wait.

Step 1: Cube one Honeycrisp apple, a ripe pear, and a fresh peach (or grab some frozen if needed). Slice an orange into thin rounds.

Think texture, color, and that juicy burst you get in every sip. Each fruit was chosen not only for flavor, but for how it complements the sangria’s visual and textural appeal.

Apples bring crispness, pears offer subtle sweetness, peaches add a sunny richness, and oranges lend citrus brightness while making the pitcher undeniably pretty.

Step 2: Add the chopped fruit to a large pitcher. Pour in elderflower liqueur, cooled honey syrup, and white grape juice. Give it a gentle stir.

This step creates a floral, aromatic base that elevates the fruit and balances natural sweetness with elegant depth.

Elderflower gives that signature light bloom, honey syrup adds warmth, and grape juice introduces a gentle roundness without overpowering.

Step 3: Add a chilled bottle of Nivole Moscato d’Asti. Its soft fizz and natural sweetness make everything feel light and effortless. Stir gently, just enough to blend.

Moscato is chosen here for its low ABV and delicate sparkle. It enhances the cocktail’s easy-sipping vibe and makes it ideal for daytime pours without sacrificing flavor or sophistication.

Step 4: Let the sangria sit for 15 to 30 minutes at room temp so the fruit and flavors can mingle. If you’re prepping ahead, pop it in the fridge and serve within a few hours to keep things fresh.

This rest period is essential for letting the flavors meld. The fruits start to release their juices, blending with the wine and liqueur for a more unified and expressive flavor.

Step 5: When you’re ready to pour, top with sparkling water or club soda if you like a little lift, and garnish.

A final splash of sparkling water adds refreshment and brings back a little fizz lost during infusion.
