The leaves are slowly falling, the evenings are chilly and dark, and that means it’s time for a fall cocktail! For this ruby-toned drink, I’ve taken Aperol’s herbal, citrusy flavors and blended them with Chambord, Prosecco, and ginger beer. It makes for a delightful combination that I’m calling the Fall Aperol Spritz. I’m eager to share this delicious, eye-catching cocktail recipe with you, and regardless of the season, I know you’re going to love it.
If you’re looking for a fall cocktail that’s just as easy to serve to a large crowd as it is to enjoy in a small gathering, then look no further – this drink is simple to prepare (and a joy to consume). Since it’s a “build in the glass” cocktail, this recipe doesn’t require a shaker, but you’ll still need plenty of ice. The blood orange garnish adds a welcome burst of citrus flavor, but also makes for a photo-worthy presentation. It’s a win-win, in my book.
Step 1: In a wine glass filled with ice, pour in all your ingredients except Prosecco.
Step 2: Top with Prosecco.
Step 3: Garnish with blood orange slices and enjoy!
Refreshing, herbal, and bubbly! This unique cocktail is pleasant to drink and pleasant to look at. With colors reminiscent of autumn leaves and a flavor profile that’s complex and enticing, I guarantee this’ll be a hit at your next gathering. Cheers to fall, and cheers to truly good cocktails.
