For the season, I shook up a delicious cocktail recipe that’ll bring a little sweetness to your celebrations. Plus, it’s oh-so delicious and easy-to-make. With only three ingredients required, you can make this scrumptious cranberry marg in no time!
Margaritas aren’t just for the warm months, this tart take on the original cocktail recipe is perfect for the colder half of the year. Keeping the recipe bright (& merry) with its citrus flavor from the triple sec.
Legend has it that the first margarita was created in 1938 by Mexican bartender Don Carlos Orozco. He was asked to create something special, and he whipped up what we now know as the classic margarita. The traditional cocktail gets its unique flavor from the combination of tequila, lime juice, and triple sec.
In this variation, the cranberry juice adds a festive twist, adding both sweetness and tartness to the mix. The addition of a salted rim and lime twist garnish ties it all together.
Now let’s dive into how to make this amazing cocktail!
Step 1: Rim lowball glass with lime and salt.
Step 2: Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake until chilled.
Step 3: Pour into glass with fresh ice.
Step 4: Garnish with lime wheel skewer.
Your friends and family will be sure to love this tart treat. So, get ready to whip up a few of these tasty Cranberry Margaritas and make some unforgettable holiday memories! Cheers to you and your loved ones!
