In need of a new brunch cocktail? With the help of Olympia Vodka & Martha Stewart, I’ve got you covered! If you’re anything like me, you take inspiration for well…just about everything from Martha Stewart.

So when I came across this savory cocktail on her website, I was intrigued to say the least. And in true Queen Bee fashion, I knew I had to give it a try, but with a twist! So today I’ve got you covered on how to make a delicious vodka cocktail that will make your next weekend brunch gathering or afternoon hang-out a major hit.

While I love that Martha chose gin, I was in the mood for vodka. So, naturally, I reached for my bottle of Olympia! They are a tried-and-true Pacific Northwest brand, distilled in Tumwater, WA, just a couple hours from my home. Once a popular beer company, Olympia Vodka (like many of us) underwent some changes during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

First, to provide much needed support to our community, they started making hand sanitizer! From there, Olympia’s master distillers shifted their focus to vodka, using natural artesian water to create a spirit with incredible flavor and a remarkably smooth finish. And, while I have been sad to see their classic beer go, I have to say, their vodka is now a huge staple behind my home bar.

Alright…it’s time to address the elephant in the room. The horseradish. Like you, I was a little hesitant at first. But, as we all should, I trusted Martha, and she did not let me down. This ingredient, as strange as it may sound, is absolutely a game-changer! It ads the perfect amount of spice to an already delicious savory cocktail. Add in the jalapeño and lime, and that’s it!

This drink is THE brunch cocktail. So sorry, Bloody Mary, but we’re giving you the weekend off. And can you blame us? This tasty recipe is not only Queen Bee approved, but comes with Martha’s blessing as well. What more could you ask for?
