The holiday season is upon us! It’s time to gather with friends and family for winter celebrations, and whether you’re hosting a small, intimate gathering or throwing a big holiday bash, one thing is for sure – a well-crafted cocktail can set the mood and elevate the festivities. Instead of spending your entire evening behind the bar, consider the magic of batch cocktails. These pre-made, large-scale drinks not only save you time but also allow you to spend more quality moments with your loved ones. Spicy Serrano Sangria

  • 1 bottle of cabernet sauvignon (750ml bottle, or 3.5 cups)
  • 1.5 cup of jalapeno-infused or serrano-infused tequila 
  • 1.5 cups honey simple syrup
  • 1.5 cups lime juice
  • 3 cups orange juice
  • 1 range cut in half and sliced thin
  • 1 lime cut in half and sliced thin
  • Fresh sugared cranberries (for garnish)  
  1. Add ice to a pitcher.
  2. Pour serrano tequila, cabernet sauvignon, honey simple syrup, lime juice, and orange juice.
  3. Add fresh orange and lime slices to pitcher and stir.
  4. Fill the glasses with ice and pour mixture into glasses. Garnish with rosemary, citrus, and sugared berries

Eggnog Punch

  • 2 quarts vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 4 cups hot coffee
  • 2 (liter-size) bottles of 7-Up
  • 2 – 4 cups whiskey or bourbon to taste
  • 1 cup light rum
  • 7 cups eggnog
  • ground nutmeg (to garnish)
  1. In a punch bowl, combine vanilla ice cream and coffee, blending until ice cream is melted.
  2. Add 7-Up, whiskey or bourbon, rum, and eggnog; stir until lightly blended. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Winter’s Blush Sangria

  1. In a large pitcher, add pomegranate, lemon, and cranberries.
  2. Next, pour in gin, pomegranate juice, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice.
  3. Stir well to blend flavors.
  4. Add Moscato d’Asti and gently stir combine.
  5. Refrigerate the sangria for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve over ice and, if desired, garnish the cocktail glass with fresh fruit and rosemary sprig.
  7. This recipe should serve around 8-10 glasses, making it perfect for a gathering or party.
